“Career Navigation for the Young Professional”
Biography: Amy Jaffe, a career counselor at Heart at Work, specializes in helping young adults find jobs and launch careers. She holds a Masters in Career Development from JFK University and served as the assistant director of career services at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. She has a background working in human resources as a trainer and recruiter for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
Amy counsels clients and leads career development workshops for Heart at Work, a private career counseling practice based in Yarmouth, Maine. Together with Heart At Work founder Barbara Babkirk, Amy recently presented on "Averting Quarterlife and Midlife Crises in Your Workplace: 5 Key Retention Strategies” at the 2008 Annual Human Resources Convention.
